The Maquoketa girls basketball team share a regional bracket with its arch rival.

The No. 15-ranked team in Iowa Class 4A, Maquoketa (16-5) begins its postseason journey Wednesday in Maquoketa by hosting the 2-18 West Delaware Hawks. Gametime is 7 p.m.

If the Cardinals defeat West Delaware, they will travel to DeWitt Saturday to take on tenth-ranked Central DeWitt in the regional semifinal. That game begins at 5 p.m. The Sabers have won both matchups between the two teams this season.

On the other side of the region, Western Dubuque and Clinton square off in the first round with the winner taking on No. 4 Center Point-Urbana in the regional semifinal.
