Easton Valley 52

Central City 6

The Easton Valley River Hawks football team keeps piling up points and victories.

The team traveled to Central City on Friday and posted a 52-6 win to improve to 6-0 on the season.

In what sounds like a broken record, senior quarterback Nate Trenkamp threw for four touchdowns and Cade Jargo caught two touchdown passes. Trenkamp has 22 touchdown passes this season with only three interceptions. Jargo has nine TD catches and two interceptions that he returned for touchdowns.

The most surprising part of the Easton Valley football season is its defense. Since halftime of the Springville game spanning six quarters, Easton Valley has only given up one touchdown.

Easton Valley plays Friday Oct. 11, in Preston (homecoming) against Kee High School in Lansing.
