The Maquoketa Valley Ikes Chapter would like to thank everyone who attended our 89th annual Fish Fry on April 13, 2019. It was great to see everyone out at the Clubhouse!

Additionally, we would like to thank several businesses and individuals for their donations to help make the day a success.  Once again, Bluff Lake Restaurant donated all the coleslaw ingredients. The Bluff Lake team has done this for many years as ongoing support for the Ikes’ conservation efforts.

Schueller and Sons Reconstruction donated the use of their dump trailer again this year. Also, again this year, Woodland Forestry (Kevin and Lisa Oetken) donated trees for folks who attended the fish fry to take home free of charge.

In addition, we thank the members of the Maquoketa Youth Trap Club for all the assistance they provided as well. Finally, a big thank you goes to each member who donated venison, a dessert or a salad to help out.

Again, a big thank you to these business and individuals for all they did to help make the day go well. It is truly appreciated. The funds raised will allow us to continue creating opportunities for outdoor recreation in the area and continue to work with area youth groups.
