Well it’s a new year, a new decade, and a presidential election year.

I want to set some things straight, I support President Donald John Trump, he is the only president who has done what he promised to do when he was a candidate way back in 2016. Our economy is booming, unemployment is low and how many people including the Democrats can disagree with that? Why are they so mad at him. The house impeached him over what? Simple they’re mad Hillary lost. Now the democrats want President Trump and Vice President Pence out of the White House so guess who becomes president if they are gone? A angry speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi. What crime have they committed referring to President Trump Vice President Pence? None.

Plus what about Obama when he gave money to Iran or Hillary when she never sent support to our Embassy in Libya? Growing up as a young Republican I can remember the days when I knew Democrats didn’t like the Republican party. I was fine with that. Now it has come down the Democratic party as a whole who have become the Democrat National Socialist party. Don’t get me wrong there are true Democrats out there who honestly care about our country and there is at least one pro-life Democrat, that is the governor of Louisiana.

I’ll be blunt and I am quoting the words of President Trump: “You don’t like me but if you don’t vote for me this country is going to go to heck in a handbasket.

I Richard Stimmel 40 of Maquoketa support him and his administration 100% and I pray for him and his cabinet unlike speaker Pelosi. what a disgrace when she said on national TV “I’m Catholic and I pray for President Trump;” what a big fat lie. How could she say that as a Christian with such hate in her tone of voice and her demeanor? Sure no one is going to agree with the president 100%. Half the time I don’t totally agree with people on the Maquoketa City Council or the Jackson County Board of Supervisors and elected officials in Des Moines; does that mean I don’t pray for them? Of course not. The Bible instructs me to pray for everyone in authority. 1 Timothy 2:2-3 NLT: “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior.”

So if you’re like me you’ll look past President Trump’s tweets and pray for him and also vote for him in November of this year and if you are tired of all the shenanigans the Democrats are playing may I invite you to come to the Republican caucus which is on February 3, 2020, starting at 6:30 p.m.; locations are as follows:
