A Clinton woman and a Poplar Grove, Ill., man face Walmart theft charges.
Peter Frank Giangreco, 27, is charged with third-degree theft, after he pushed a cart loaded with more than $1,200 worth of merchandise out an fire exit Dec. 6.
Meanwhile, Robin Aline Hunter, 46, of 403 21st Place Court, Clinton, had gone into a Walmart restroom with two bras and came out without them. Staff found the tags on the restroom floor and found Hunter sitting in a vehicle by the loading dock. She is charged with fifth-degree theft.
Giangreco was picked up at Kwikstar after making a run for it. Law enforcement went to the emergency room following the pick-ups, according to incident reports.
Giangreco is also charged with possession of a theft detection removal device, and with disorderly conduct for raising a false fire alarm when he pushed the cart out the emergency exit.
Hunter also faces drug charges. According to charging documents, she had in her possession 11 bags of methamphetamine that totaled 4.5 grams, less than a gram of marijuana and drug paraphernalia: a one-hitter and a horizontal meth bubbler.
