Kandi Sue King, 36, of 5298 Highway 64, Baldwin, was charged with domestic abuse assault, first offense.

On March 7 at 5298 Highway 64, according to charging documents, deputies responded to an altercation. King shoved a victim, causing marks on the victim’s face and hands.

Lesley Ann Latham, 40, of 1020 German St., Apt. #3, Maquoketa, was charged with operating under the influence, second offense. 

On March 9, officers responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in the center median of Highway 61. An officer followed Latham’s weaving vehicle. Latham showed signs of intoxication, had an open container in the vehicle, asked for assistance opening her vehicle door and said she was too intoxicated to do field sobriety tests, according to charging documents.

Steven Lee Taylor, 38, of 516 W. Grove St., Maquoketa, was charged with domestic abuse assault, first offense.

According to charging documents, at 516 W. Grove St. March 9, Taylor assaulted three victims, tackling, shoving and pushing, causing a finger injury.

John Lee Ralson, 51, of 1221 Bear Creek Road, Monmouth, was charged with fifth-degree theft.

According to charging documents, on March 7, Ralston put a pack of AA batteries valued at $6.99 in the back pocket of his wife’s pants and left Fareway.

Jamie Ray Cockrell, 45, of 25375 Highway 61, Zwingle, was charged with assault.

According to charging documents, on March 17 at 25375 Highway 61, Cockrell threatened a victim whom he had previously choked.

Scott Allen Filloon, 31, of 1205 E. Platt St., Trailer 105, Maquoketa, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying weapons, third-degree burglary and possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.

On March 18, according to charging documents, Filloon was leaving the scene where a burglar alarm had been activated at Bridgeport Storage. Filloon had two knives and a carbon dioxide-powered BB pistol inside his vehicle, charging documents said, and he was wearing dark clothing and admitted to entering the building through an overhead door, charging documents said.

The same day, Filloon came to the law center for an interview with methamphetamine in his pocket and a broken glass pipe with residue in it.

Lonnie Jay Hamilton, 38, of 207 W. Benton St., Andrew, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, third offense, and driving with a denied or revoked license.

On March 16 at the corner of Rockdale Road and Highway 62, an officer responded to a report of a driver passed out at the wheel. Hamilton showed signs of intoxication and refused medical treatment and testing, according to charging documents.

Travis James Haylock, 33, of 310 S. Fifth St., Maquoketa, was charged with a controlled substance violation.

On July 23, Haylock had about 11 grams of methamphetamine after an arrest at North Main and Pershing Road, as well as baggies and a scale, according to charging documents.

Ilander A. Ilai, 36, of 308-4 Western Ave., Maquoketa, was charged with public intoxication.

According to charging documents, on March 17, an officer responded to 409 Thomas Ave. Ilai was being escorted from the property, did not follow officer directions, and showed signs of intoxication.

Jamaica Brooke Ralston, 39, of 1221 Bear Creek Road, Monmouth, was charged with fifth-degree theft.

On March 7, according to charging documents, Ralston assisted her husband in concealing a pack of AA batteries valued at $6.99 in her back pocket and taking them from Fareway.

Nicholas Armondo Soto, 34, of 808 Broad St., Sabula, was charged with domestic abuse assault, first offense, and second-degree attempted burglary.

According to charging documents, on March 13, Soto forced himself into the home at 32 S. Stephens St., Preston, and shoved a victim against the wall. Soto also kicked the locked back door at that address and entered it without permission, court documents show.

Brie Anna Elise Allura Summers, 30, of 651 N. Matteson St., Lot 1, was charged with driving while barred.

According to charging documents, on March 13 on the 300 block of North Main Street, Summers was driving a van while having a barred license.

Nathan James Carr, 26, of 517 Oakhurst Drive, Apt. 14, Clinton, was charged with willful injury causing serious injury and assault.

On March 17, Carr assaulted a victim in the parking lot of Bill’s Tap, knocking the victim to the ground, kicking and stomping on the victim, breaking the victim’s fibula and dislocating the victim’s ankle, according to charging documents. The victim was knocked unconscious and fell, causing some immediate memory loss. Carr also shoved three victims, at least one of whom fell to the ground.

Presley Lauryn Bronson, 27, of 13723 187th Ave., Maquoketa, was charged with operating under the influence, second offense.

On March 24 at 55th Street and Hurstville Road, officers stopped a vehicle for crossing the center line. The driver, identified as Bronson, exhibited signs of intoxication and failed sobriety tests, according to charging documents.

Jeffrey Dean Jensen, 44, of 41 S. Mitchell St., Preston, was charged with assault. 

According to charging documents, on March 19, Jensen punched a victim multiple times at Jensen’s home.
