The regular meeting, of the Monmouth Co-Ed 4-H Club, was held Feb. 3, 2019, at the Monmouth church. 

The meeting was called to order at 1 o’clock by Brett Schoenherr. 

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Anna Bartels. Roll call was “what is the best movie you have ever seen?” 

The secretary’s report was given by Callie Petersen. Anna Bartels made a motion to pass the secretary’s report, Gracie Franzen seconded the motion. 

The treasurer’s report was given by Lane Stender. Anna Bartels made a motion to pass the treasurer’s report, Wyatt Christiansen seconded the motion. 

Brett Schoenherr reported on the Family Fun Day committee- our next meeting will be held at the YMCA in Maquoketa with maidrite lunch. 

Old business- sweetheart ball/ Hawaiian Luau is Feb. 24. Anna Bartels made a motion to donate twenty dollars to each candidate, Callie Petersen and Wyatt Christiansen, Gabbi Franzen seconded the motion. 

YQCA training is April 28 or June 3. The club voted on buying new livestock barn signs. Elodie Hutchins made a motion for the club to purchase the signs, Raegan Dickmann, seconded the motion. 

Animal project deadlines are coming up, be watching your inview. All money for the fruit fundraiser is due to Jen Stender by Wednesday Feb. 6. 

Officers read cookie plate thank you’s. 

New business- 4-H basketball is March 30 and be thinking of share the fun ideas to share with Mrs. Ruley.  The 4-H Pledge was led by Gabbi Franzen. Gracie Franzen presented about zucchini brownies and Raegan Dickmann presented on how to wrap a present. Installation of officers and new members was held after the meeting. 

The next meeting will be held March 3 at the YMCA.
