Filling the air with the sound of old-time bluegrass music at Eden Valley was the trio, Light At The River. Members Dave Erickson from Sugar Grove, Illinois, Mary McAndrew from Davenport, and formerly from Lost Nation, and Neil Zaborowski from Maquoketa, entertained during the event in years past. This photo was taken a couple years ago.

Fall is in the air and the Old Time and Bluegrass Gathering is getting ready for the 38th year of fiddles, banjos, harmonicas, mandolins and guitars to fill the Eden Valley Campground near Baldwin on Friday, Oct. 11 and Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019.

There is a jam on Friday afternoon and evening, Oct. 11.

The members of the trio, Light At The River, Dave Erickson of Sugar Grove, Illinois, Mary McAndrew of Davenport, and formerly from Lost Nation, and Neil Zaborowski of Maquoketa, plan the yearly event.

Each year the musicians look forward to playing in the beautiful park and entertaining the folks who love the old traditional tunes.

This is a free event. In case of bad weather, the music is moved into the Nature Center at Eden Valley.
