Maquoketa Woman’s Club
The Maquoketa Woman’s Club is offering a $500 scholarship to a graduating high school senior from Jackson County who plans to attend college in the fall of 2020.
Application forms are available from high school guidance counselors in Maquoketa, Bellevue, and Easton Valley. Applications are due by April 1.
The Coronado Car Club is pleased to announce they are again offering a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior who will attend college or a trade school fulltime in the fall of 2020.
The scholarship will be offered to someone entering an automotive-related field such as collision repair, engine repair and maintenance, diesel repair, or any related technical field.
This scholarship is being offered to the following area schools: Maquoketa, Central DeWitt, Midland, Easton Valley, Calamus-Wheatland, Bellevue, Bellevue Marquette, and Northeast.
Forms are available in the guidance counselor’s office at each school and must be turned in by April 6.
The Optimist Club of Maquoketa will award three $1,000 scholarships to Maquoketa Community High School seniors again this year.
To be eligible, students must enroll in a 4-year college, community college or vocational / technical school. Scholarships will be paid directly to the students’ schools for the second semester of the school year.
Applications are now available in the high school guidance office and must be turned in by Friday, April 10, 2020.
Awards will be presented to recipients at the high school awards assembly.
